The woodland around Callendar Estate is home to a wide array of woodland birds. From the surprisingly loud singing wren to the soaring buzzard. We are also home deer, badger and bats. If you are quiet you might even see a pine martin. 

The Woodland Bird Trail takes you through Howierigg Moss, an important lowland raised bog providing a habitat for dragonflies, butterflies and the heather bee. 

The Woodland Bird Trail is 4.2km will take you about an hour with climbing up to Auchingean Wood providing some spectacular views over the Ochil Hills.
